2000–2002 Design consultant for medium-size jewellery companies in Tunisia on behalf of the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ)

1999 Silversmith workshop at Salzau Castle headed by German silversmith Wilfried Moll

1990–1996 Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, Germany, studying jewellery and silversmithing under professors Erhard Hößle and Ulla Mayer (the final degree being equivalent to a Master of Arts with distinction by having been appointed “Meisterschüler” in 1994)
